By Kevin Donlin | January 14th, 2009
Here’s a podcast of an interview I recently did with Dr. Barry Miller, Manager of Alumni Career Programs and Services at Pace University.
If you’re a recent college graduate — or plan to be or ever were one — you know the current job market is tough.
Listen to the job hunting ideas in this podcast and discover how to:
- Get the most job leads from social networking sites like LinkedIn and Facebook;
- Make quick connections with alumni from your school;
- Connect with Dr. Miller on LinkedIn to gain access to his 2,200 direct contacts and 600,000 secondary networking contacts;
- What lily pads on a pond can teach you about networking;
And more.

I love all the insight that he has. I went to a networking meeting and I didn’t even think of my alumni page until someone told me about it.
I believe in networking and everything that you have stated before has worked. I still need to redo my resume the way you said.
