Yet Another Guerrilla Job Search Success Story - Who Else Wants To Find a Job in This Recession?
By Kevin Donlin | October 1st, 2009
Recession? What recession?
Seriously, this is what I’m starting to think, given that some people are getting hired for new jobs in days and weeks instead of months — or longer.
What are they doing differently?
They’re taking a “guerrilla” approach to job hunting. When everyone else is “zigging,” they “zag.”
Example 1: Last week, one Michigan man was hired 8 days after using Guerrilla tactics in his search, mainly our “start work before you’re hired” technique.
And if you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere — Michigan currently has the worst unemployment rate in the English-speaking world.
Example 2: Just yesterday, I spoke with a Minnesota man who was hired in one month for a new job after applying Guerrilla tactics. This after he had struggled for 7 months to find a job the old way (which mainly entailed using an ordinary resume).
Scott, whose story you can listen to below, got hired faster using a Guerrilla Resume, which he learned about at our Guerrilla Job Search Secrets Revealed seminar here in the Twin Cities.
Scott says: “As soon as I came to the seminar with Kevin, I learned all sorts of tips and tricks, specifically with the resume. I went to [using] a Guerrilla Resume. It was easy to write and I felt confidence in it …. Once I took your class, I had a job offer within a month. It gave me the confidence, it gave me a resume that I felt positive to hand out to anybody.”
Listen to Scott’s story below …
… then, if you’re in the Twin Cities, get yourself to the next Guerrilla Job Search Secrets Revealed seminar on Oct. 8.
If you’re not in town or it’s after Oct. 8 when you read this, no worries! You can create your own Guerrilla Resume here.

A very interesting approach to say there’s no recession in job search when everyone talks about it. But probably being so optimistic, you yourself won’t have any problems with job search.
